Family Preservation Services
Family Preservation is a specialized program funded by the Erie County Office of Children and Youth. It serves children and families referred by the Office of Children and Youth with the goal of preventing the unnecessary placement of children outside of the home and assisting children who are in foster care or other placements to return home while maintaining child safety as the highest priority. Family Preservation is an intensive, time-limited program that meets primarily with families in their own homes.

Referral Process:
The case worker completes a referral form and faxes it to CCLH. For questions about the referral process, please call 814-459-2755, ext. 503
Eligibility Criteria: All families must be referred by the Office of Children and Youth (OCY) either by an on-going or intake caseworker.
