Outpatient Mental Health
Outpatient services are delivered by a team of highly skilled, licensed professionals, including a
board registered psychiatrist, a CRNP, licensed social workers, a mental health counselor, and registered
nurses. Services are available to both children and adults experiencing concerns ranging from
problems in daily living to serious emotional illness.
Services are often requested for the following issues and areas of concern:
Concerns and conflicts at work
Marriage and family relationship concerns
Relationship problems outside the family
Individual and parenting concerns related to ADHD
Behavioral concerns of children-at home and at school
Loneliness and social isolation
Genetic testing is a specialized service offered through the Outpatient Department at Corry Counseling.
The test is a simple cheek swab that can be completed in the office by medical staff and is offered at no
additional cost to the individual. It is a quick and effective way to assist our Psychiatric staff in selecting
medications and doses that are best suited for an individual's condition and genetic makeup.
Medications that align with an individual's genes work the best with fewer side effects.
The agency offers quick, easy access to services. Evening appointments are available. To schedule an
appointment, call (814) 664-7761.
All services are confidential within the legal and professional restraints placed on confidentiality. All
services are provided without regard to race, color, creed, age, religion, ancestry, national origin, ethnicity,
sex, disability, or socioeconomic status.
